Working on this test for Oni Press was such a blast, especially since it was for one of my all-time favorite series: Rick and Morty! Getting to bring those wild characters to life was a dream come true for me, and I had a ton of fun capturing the quirky, chaotic vibe of the show. There’s just something about this style—it’s exactly my thing.
The good news? They loved it! This opportunity led to my first published Rick and Morty comic with Oni Press, and it was an incredible learning experience. I realized I had a knack for drawing licensed cartoon characters and how to adapt my style to match the unique energy of a series like this. It felt pretty natural for me, but I’m still experimenting with different approaches and techniques to keep pushing my work forward.
