Ah… my beloved Turtles! I’ve been a Ninja Turtles fan since the ’90s, hooked from the start when I watched the series on TV. Then I got my hands on the original comics and loved that underground, DIY fanzine vibe they had. There have been so many versions over the years, and I’ve always wanted to do something with the Turtles for IDW. It’s one of those things that I keep hoping will happen someday!
Here’s a fake cover I put together for April Fools’ Day and posted on my Facebook—tons of people thought I was actually going to publish a Ninja Turtles comic with IDW. But nope, it was all just one huge fake! Still, I’m sure I’d do a killer job with them, and who knows… maybe one day! As always, I did it all—pencil, ink, color, and layout. Hope you enjoy it, and fingers crossed that it becomes a reality someday!
